View rangeCorrugated beam panels bolted to steel posts as a roadside or median barrier. The manufacturer's published specification cites the Ministry of Transport industry standard JT/T 281—2007 for highway corrugated-beam steel guardrail panels: 4320 mm panel length, 4 m post spacing, twin-wave 310 mm wide and triple-wave 505 mm wide with an 85 mm wave height.
A W-beam steel road guardrail is a corrugated steel beam panel bolted to a line of steel posts, so that a vehicle striking it is guided along the beam rather than through it. The system is the standard roadside and median barrier for highways and expressways in China, and the manufacturer's published specification for it cites the Ministry of Transport industry specification JT/T 281—2007《高速公路波形梁钢护栏板》. Each panel is 4320 mm long, which leaves a net 4 m between posts once the panels are lapped and bolted, and the posts are set at that same 4 m spacing.
Two beam widths are published. The twin-wave (two-wave) beam is 310 mm wide with an 85 mm wave height and is made in 3 mm or 4 mm plate; the triple-wave (three-wave) beam is 505 mm wide with the same 85 mm wave height, is made in 4 mm plate, and is used with a 130 × 130 mm square-tube post. Posts are Φ114 mm or Φ140 mm with a 4.5 mm wall, normally 1.85 m, 1.95 m, 2.00 m or 2.15 m long depending on the requirement and on how the post is set in the ground.
The manufacturer states that the panels have good corrosion resistance and are resistant to ageing. The figures below are the published specification for the standard section; because highway standards differ from country to country, tell us the standard your project follows and we confirm in writing what we can supply.
Every row below is the figure published by the manufacturer for this system. Where a project follows AASHTO, EN or another national specification, the panel, post and accessory build is confirmed in writing against that standard before production.

The published figures are the starting point for a guardrail enquiry. Here is how they translate into a quotation.
The 4320 mm panel and the 4 m post spacing together fix how the barrier behaves: the beam spans post to post at 4 m, and the panel length is what makes that span work with a 4 m net gap once the panels are lapped and bolted. When you give us a run length, those two figures are what turn it into a count of panels and posts.
Both beams are 4320 mm long with an 85 mm wave height. The twin-wave beam is 310 mm wide and can be supplied in 3 mm or 4 mm plate; the triple-wave beam is 505 mm wide in 4 mm plate and goes onto a 130 × 130 mm square-tube post rather than a Φ114 / Φ140 mm round post. The wider beam covers more of the wheel path and a stiffer post is used with it, so the choice follows the road class, the traffic mix and the standard your project follows.
Steel barrier is heavy for its volume, so a container load is limited by weight long before it is limited by space. The published masses — 49.16 kg per 3 mm twin-wave panel and 65.44 kg per 4 mm panel, 102 kg per triple-wave panel, 12.15 kg/m for Φ114 mm post and 15.04 kg/m for Φ140 mm post, and 12.3 t or 16.388 t of beam per kilometre — tell you what a kilometre of barrier weighs before posts and accessories are added, and therefore what the freight will cost. Send us the run length and the destination port and we build the loading plan on those figures.
The figures here are published against the Chinese industry specification JT/T 281—2007. If your project is specified to AASHTO, EN or another national standard, the beam profile, plate thickness, post section, hole pattern and accessory set may differ. Tell us the standard you follow and we will confirm in writing what we can supply against it.
Panels, posts and accessories shipped as one programme — bundled, labelled and loaded to the loading plan agreed for the order.
Guardrail panels are stacked and steel-banded into bundles; posts, post caps, spacer blocks, end terminals and bolt sets are bundled and bagged separately. Every bundle carries the panel type, the post section and the drawing reference, and the packing method is confirmed per specification on the packing list.
Confirmed per specification — send the drawing, quantity and destination port and we reply with MOQ, loading plan and lead time within one business day. Steel barrier loads are limited by weight rather than by volume; give us the container size, the beam type and the maximum bundle weight you can unload and we plan to it.
We issue the proforma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Documentation against a named standard is confirmed in writing per order. Payment terms and warranty are agreed per order and stated on the proforma invoice.
