Temporary mesh fence

Movable mesh panels on loose posts, made in two construction types — welded mesh and woven mesh — and moved from one work area to the next as the site changes. Panel height, panel width, aperture, post type, surface treatment and colour are printed for each type in the specification table below.

Temporary mesh fence is the movable mesh panel system used on construction sites, at events and wherever a site has to be separated for a short time: the panels are lifted out of their posts, stacked onto a truck and set up again at the next work area instead of being dug in and left behind. The welded type is made from high-quality hot-dip galvanised tube, bent and then welded, so the panel holds a straight, tightly stretched face; the woven type uses woven mesh in the same panel-and-post arrangement.

Both types are printed with their own sizes below. The welded type runs from 3.6 mm to 6 mm wire, the woven type from 1.5 mm to 4 mm, and the posts, surface treatment and colour differ between them as the manufacturer lists them. Tell us the height, the width, the aperture and the post you need, and we confirm the panel build in writing against your drawing.

  • Welded type: high-quality hot-dip galvanised tube, bent and then welded into the panel.
  • Woven type: woven mesh panels in the same movable panel-and-post arrangement.
  • Posts: square post, round post, peach-shaped post and new anti-theft post for the welded type; square post and round post for the woven type.
  • Surface: hot-dip galvanising, PVC dipping, powder coating, sand blasting and electrostatic spraying, with a post-weld zinc coating on the welded type.
  • Colour: mainly green, with yellow, blue and others available on the welded type; mainly green and blue on the woven type.
  • Applications: construction sites, events and temporary site separation, moved and re-erected as the work front moves.
  • For heights, widths, apertures or post sections outside the printed ranges, send the drawing or the standard you follow and we confirm what we can supply.

Before you order

What you need to decide

Five choices fix the panel and the post, and they all have to be made before we can confirm the build in writing.

  • Construction type: welded mesh type or woven mesh type — the two types carry different wire diameters, apertures, posts and finishes.
  • Panel height and panel width: 1.0–2.0 m high by 2.0–3.0 m wide for the welded type, or one of the woven panel sizes, and the run length you need to cover.
  • Post type: square, round, peach-shaped or new anti-theft post for the welded type; square or round post for the woven type, with the matching feet or bases.
  • Surface treatment and colour: hot-dip galvanising, PVC dipping, powder coating, sand blasting or electrostatic spraying, and mainly green or another colour from the range printed for the type.
  • Movability and stacking: whether the panels must be lifted out and stacked for transport and re-erected at the next work area, and how often the fence is expected to be moved.
Packing & shipping

How temporary mesh fence reaches your site

Panels, posts and feet shipped as one programme — bundled, labelled and loaded to the loading plan agreed for the order.

Export packing

Mesh panels are stacked face to face with edge protection and steel-banded into bundles; posts, feet and fittings are bundled and bagged separately. Every bundle carries the panel height, the post type and the drawing reference, and the packing method is confirmed per specification on the packing list.

Loading plan

Confirmed per specification — send the drawing, quantity and destination port and we reply with MOQ, loading plan and lead time within one business day. Mesh fence loads are usually limited by bundle weight and stacking height rather than by volume; give us the container size and the maximum bundle weight you can unload and we plan to it.

Documents & terms

We issue the proforma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Documentation against a named standard is confirmed in writing per order. Payment terms and warranty are agreed per order and stated on the proforma invoice.
