Perforated hoarding

A site hoarding built from perforated galvanised panels on steel tube supports, finished by electrostatic spray coating. The perforations let air and light through the face, which is why it is used where a solid hoarding would trap wind or block daylight.

Φ10 mm perforated face Galvanised sheet 1200×2000 mm panel Steel tube support Electrostatic spray coating Multiple colours

This hoarding is a perforated face rather than a solid one. The panel is a 1200×2000 mm galvanised sheet, perforated at Φ10 mm, carried on steel tube supports and finished by electrostatic spray coating. Because the face is perforated, wind passes through it and daylight reaches the works behind it, so the hoarding screens a site without turning the boundary into a solid wall.

The published panel size is 1200×2000 mm, which fixes both the module and the handling: each panel is a two-metre-high unit a small crew can carry and set. Sheet thickness is published as a 0.5–0.8 mm range, and the support is steel tube with a 0.7 mm wall — the two figures that set how stiff the face is against wind and how much the panel deflects under load. The perforations are Φ10 mm, and the coating is electrostatic spray in multiple colours, so the finish and colour are chosen on the order.

Where the perforated face is used, the site behind it is partially visible from the street — that is a decision, not a side effect. It suits boundaries where ventilation, daylight or a lighter look is wanted, and it is often combined with a solid hoarding on the same run, with the perforated panels reserved for the faces that need air or light. We confirm which parts of the run are which on the drawing rather than assuming.

Tell us the total run length, the height, the ground fixing, the colour and which parts of the boundary are perforated, and we confirm the panel layout, support spacing, coating and packing as one specification.

  • Use: site boundaries where wind or daylight has to pass the face, and runs where a lighter, partly see-through hoarding is wanted.
  • Panel: 1200×2000 mm galvanised sheet.
  • Sheet thickness: 0.5–0.8 mm, as published.
  • Perforation: Φ10 mm.
  • Support: steel tube, 0.7 mm wall.
  • Finish: electrostatic spray coating, multiple colours — the colour is chosen on the order.
  • Fixing: base fixing and foundation detail are confirmed per specification against the ground condition.
  • Documentation: buyers who need CE / EN / ASTM documentation — tell us the standard and we will confirm in writing what we can supply.

Perforated hoarding — specification summary

The figures below are the manufacturer's published data for this hoarding, reproduced as published. Post spacing, run height and total length are not published as fixed numbers — they follow the site, so they are confirmed on the order drawing.

Before you order

What you decide before we quote

These are the points that settle a perforated hoarding enquiry. All of them are questions we put to you, because the manufacturer publishes the panel size and thicknesses but no fixed run height or support spacing.

  • Site conditions: whether the supports stand on concrete or paving, or on ground that needs a foundation detail.
  • Wind load: a perforated face passes wind, so tell us how exposed the boundary is and we set support spacing to it.
  • Panel height and sheet thickness: the run height you need, and where in the published 0.5–0.8 mm range the sheet should sit.
  • Foundation and fixing: the base detail for the ground you have, agreed on the drawing.
  • Colour: the electrostatic spray coating colour, chosen from the published multiple-colour range on the order.
  • Access points: where vehicles and pedestrians must pass, so gate and opening positions are set on the drawing.
  • Which faces are perforated: whether the whole boundary is perforated or only the parts that need air or daylight.
Packing & shipping

How perforated hoarding reaches your site

Panels stacked and separated, supports bundled — so the coated faces arrive without rub marks.

Export packing

Panels are stacked flat with separators between faces, and steel tube supports and fittings are bundled by type. Because the panels are spray coated, the packing is arranged so the coated faces do not rub in transit. Banding, pallets and any cartons are confirmed per specification on the packing list.

Loading plan

Confirmed per specification — send the drawing, quantity and destination port and we reply with MOQ, loading plan and lead time within one business day. The 1200×2000 mm panel is the unit that governs the stack; tell us the container size and the support length and we plan the load to it.

Documents & terms

We issue the proforma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Documentation against a named standard is confirmed in writing per order. Payment terms and warranty are agreed per order and stated on the proforma invoice.
